Simulation of a frontal vehicle collision in order to study the comparison between a forward facing and rear facing child occupant

Child occupants are considered very vulnerable in the case of vehicle accidents due to fact that their bodies not fully developed and thus they have a higher risk injury. Because this, child seats been be mounted on backseat 2 seating positions, facing rear or front it. This paper aims analyse two positions seat determine injury occupant using virtual simulation crash at different velocities multibody model for occupant. The results show rear-facing has better protection overall could reduce probability frontal collisions.
